Mercyhurst University: Fashion Merchandising Program Profile
Erie, Pennsylvania

This comprehensive program prepares students to succeed in any aspect of the fashion industry, from buying to presenting, to even developing a clothing line. That’s because, in addition to a strong curriculum designed to provide an in-depth overview of the fashion industry from construction to marketing, you’ll also have plenty of opportunities to gain real-world, hands-on experience. Through mandatory and voluntary opportunities, such as internships, creation of professional portfolios, access to the Mercyhurst Fashion Club, experiencing fashion from “Fashion Capitals” around the world, or networking with fashion professionals, we emphasize the need for our students to have actual experience in the field prior to graduation.
