Best Fashion Programs in New Jersey

August 14, 2013 written by FS Staff

New Jersey

A large student body can be a good thing for a school’s budget, but it can also be a bad thing when it comes to college rankings. Smaller class sizes mean individual attention, and individual attention matters when it comes to ranking the best of the best! In addition to faculty resources (student-faculty ratio), respected college ranking groups such as Forbes, Princeton Review, U.S. News & World Report, and Businessweek, consider financial resources, program offerings, peer assessment, graduation and retention rates, and student selectivity when ranking the best of the best. A number of schools in the state of New Jersey rank high on the list and many offer excellent fashion programs.

New Jersey is home to 66 Title IV degree-granting institutions. Although this is lower than the national average of 90, New Jersey is still home to some of the best institutions in the U.S. Princeton University, Rutgers University, and Drew University are just a few. When it comes to fashion schools, New Jersey is also home to some of the best options the U.S. has to offer. Surprisingly, most are located in smaller cities and towns such as Montclair and Lincroft.
