Written by FS StaffAugust 20, 2013

We all know that fashion programs are plentiful in places like New York, California, Pennsylvania, and Texas, but did you also know that off-the-beaten path places such as Massachusetts also have a lot to offer? In fact, Massachusetts is home to a whopping 124 Title IV degree-granting institutions and many of these schools offer some of the region’s best fashion programs.

The state’s best colleges made the cut based on student selectivity, class size, peer assessment, program offerings, financial resources, and graduation and retention rates. These are just a few of the factors college ranking agencies assess in order to determine which schools are indeed the best of the best.

Just a few of the state’s best fashion school programs are offered at Fisher College in Boston, Newbury College in Brookline, and the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth in North Dartmouth. Brookline is just four short miles from Boston and North Dartmouth is only 50 miles from all the action in Beantown.
