Accessory design majors at Savannah College of Art & Design are trained in two and three-dimensional design with the ultimate goal of constructing functional, high-quality, marketable accessories. The fashion design program at SCAD, one of the largest in the country, takes a well-rounded approach to the fashion industry. A main focus of the design program is to assist students in developing creative thinking skills while gaining hands on experience in the practical aspects of fashion design. Students in the fashion marketing and management program are prepared to enter the global fashion market in careers that combine many aspects of fashion including business and marketing. The fashion marketing and management curriculum reflects the demands of changing trends of hard and soft line products.
