Fashion Design: The Fashion Design program at Jefferson prepares highly-skilled students to lead the future of the fashion industry. Fashion Merchandising & Management: The fashion industry has evolved into a billion-dollar business offering many rewarding opportunities, from buying and sourcing to merchandising and brand management. The Fashion Merchandising and Management Program at Jefferson features an immersive, career-focused curriculum that prepares students to contribute to all aspects of the fashion supply chain. The program teaches current and upcoming trends in advancing technologies and a global fashion marketplace. We are internationally recognized for educating professionals who understand the full scope of the fashion industry, providing opportunities in buying, merchandising, planning, marketing, allocation, product development, branding, sourcing, and production.
Textile Design: In Jefferson’s Textile Design program, you will learn how to turn innovative ideas into products, blending aesthetic and creative skills with the latest technologies. Courses in weaving, knitting and printing, dyeing and finishing, and materials technology are taught by active artists, design directors, authors and researchers. Partnerships with industry and national and international design competitions provide practical experience, study abroad opportunities let you learn about a new culture while expanding your textile design skills, and our internship program is one of the strongest in the industry. Our students are regularly featured at major exhibits and are sought after by industry leaders. Graduates land jobs as print designers for apparel and home furnishings companies, dobby and jacquard woven stylists in contract and residential upholstery, and textile specialists making high performance sports apparel, with employers ranging from boutique and specialty retailers to international firms.
Textile Product Science: Jefferson’s Textile Product Science degree prepares you to work in a global industry that includes fiber-engineered products for medical, geotextiles, architecture, fiber-reinforced composites, traditional apparel and home-furnishing applications.
