Some organizations may publish their very own “Top 20” list, while others may rank the nation’s top 100 U.S. colleges. To determine which schools deserve a spot in the rankings, the school may be evaluated based on program offerings, graduation and retention rates, peer assessment, faculty resources (student-teacher ratio), financial resources, and student selectivity.
