AIU Buckhead is situated very close to the heart of Atlanta's MidTown, giving its students convenient access to a multitude of business and cultural opportunities.

The purpose of the Fashion Design and the Fashion Design and Marketing Programs is to develop and nurture educated and motivated students to become innovative, creative, qualified and highly skilled professionals capable of making and immediate impact in the fashion career of their choice. To this end, students are exposed to industry professionals through the use of internships, field trips, study tours, and fashion shows. A Concentration in Costume Design is possible for Fashion Design majors. These classes are taught by industry professionals that offer ongoing internships in the field: Theatre, Local Plays and Club Reviews. For Fashion Marketing majors, AIU Buckhead also offers an emphasis on e-Tailing, a 30-credit hour concentration designed to prepare and introduce students to the world of Internet Retailing. This concentration combines the various disciplines of Fashion, Information Technology, Business and Visual Communications.

AIU Buckhead offers both associate and bachelor's degree programs in Fashion Design and Fashion Marketing. Students who choose to start out with the associate program have the choice of continuing on and obtaining a bachelor's degree, or taking their training and venturing out early into the world of fashion.
